DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY
The Green Blue Heart
The Green Blue Heart area comprised 250 hectares of land embracing both banks of the river. The site has few land ownerships and all owners are keen to see the river corridor continue to improve by building on its current assets such as two major wildlife habitats, by focusing on leisure development around the barrage and bringing forward the Marshalling Yard for development.
Eight projects are therefore being pursued by SMI.
A copy of the latest SMI PowerPoint presentation related to the Green Blue Heart is available for download from the Documents section of this website.
